ATT agrees with FCC: End wireline phone service
We knew this was coming - AT&T has responded to the FCC’s call for comments on ending wireline (POTS) phone services with a call for the FCC to set a transition deadline. Unsurprisingly, AT&T makes the obvious (and probably valid) argument that regulations that require continued support for wireline business are draining potential investment in VoIP, and that change is inevitable:
